À travers la figure hybride du nu masculin mi-homme mi-arbre, Cédric Diomède propose une réflexion sensible sur l’interdépendance entre l’humain et la nature. Le corps, délicatement modelé par des lavis et des rehauts de blanc, semble se fondre dans le paysage, tandis que la tête se transforme en ramure. L’œuvre s'inscrit dans un imaginaire symbolique aux références mythologiques, entre figuration et métamorphose, où l’humain se confond avec le végétal.

Through the hybrid figure of a male nude, half-man, half-tree, Cédric Diomède offers a sensitive reflection on the interdependence between humans and nature. The body, delicately shaped by watercolor washes and white highlights, seems to dissolve into the landscape, while the head transforms into branches. The work belongs to a symbolic, myth-infused imaginary, oscillating between figuration and metamorphosis, where the human merges with the vegetal realm.
