Eight days a week ou le calendrier d’un autre espace-temps qui nous offrirait une journée de répit dans un monde imaginaire où le temps est élastique.
Les oeuvres de Diane Merli sont une rencontre de la matière "soi" avec la matière "autre" pour tenter de se replacer au cœur de l’instant ; au cœur de sa propre nature. Le travail originel de poésie s’est créé au fil du temps, transformé en langage par le travail à l’encre, telles des conversations organiques à travers la ligne. Le travail de l'artiste est caractéristique d'une écriture automatique obsessionnelle invitant à un voyage méditatif.
The works of Diane Merli are an encounter of the material "oneself" with the material "other" to try to put oneself back in the heart of the moment ; at the heart of his own nature. The original work of poetry was created over time, transformed into language by the ink work, like organic conversations across the line. The artist's work is characteristic of an obsessive automatic writing inviting to a meditative journey.
Since 2013, Diane Merli has distinguished herself through numerous exhibitions and collaborations in France, Germany, Mexico and the United States.
